Teaching staff

The overall aim of university teaching staff assessment programmes is to improve the quality of teaching and research, ensuring merit and ability in the selection and awarding of places for the various teaching and research posts awarded at universities.

In the current annual action plan, the following programmes are active in this area:

• Accreditation to contracted professor/doctor – private university professor; and accreditation to doctor assistant professor
• Professor Emeritus
• Change of teaching staff affiliation to areas of knowledge.
• external assessment programme for teaching performance
• Other Programmes
• Assessment of pre-candidates or candidates for teaching staff posts within the framework of universities’ own calls

ACSUCYL has a Teaching Staff Assessment Committee to carry out these programmes.
