Institutional quality

The general aim of institutional quality assessment programmes is to ensure quality in the structure of centres at universities, by developing programmes to improve the quality of their activities and services and for recognition of their internal quality assurance systems.

In the current annual action plan, the following programmes are active in this area:

• Degree development plan by area of knowledge
• Creation, recognition, affiliation, modification and suppression of university centres
• Institutional accreditation and certification of universities’ internal quality assurance systems (ELENCHOS programme)
• Certification of assessment models for the teaching activities of university teaching staff (DOCENTIA programme in conjunction with ANECA)
• Other programmes

In order to carry out these programmes, ACSUCYL has an Institutional Quality Assessment Committee , which is joined by a specific Docentia Programme assessment committee designated jointly by ACUSYL and ANECA.
