Description:
The assessment process carried out by ACSUCYL for cyclical renewal of accreditation of official university degrees includes a visit by external experts to the university in order to determine with the stakeholders involved whether the curricula are being implemented in accordance with the verified project or its authorised changes. In an effort to engage the participation of all the stakeholders involved in the degrees that are subject to evaluation this academic year –and in addition to being able to convey their contributions directly to the committees during their visit– the Agency invites contributions to the process through the “Open Audience” computer platform that will be available until 29 March.

Renewal of accreditation is the third stage of quality assurance, after verification of the curriculum (ex-ante accreditation) and follow-up of the degrees implemented, and it determines the continuity of the degree.
The assessment protocols for this process have been established jointly by the university quality assurance agencies that are members of the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR), and adhere to the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance of Higher Education in the European Higher Education Area (ESG).
