ACSUCYL'S Annual Action Plan for 2024 was approved by the Board of Directors at its session on 14 February 2024, effective as of 1 January. The plan reflects the Agency's action plan, centred around a series of action lines and chapters, taking into account the Agency's mission, analysis of the strategic and operational objectives set out in the Agency's “2021-2025 Strategic Plan” and the “List of Services” updated by TRA/303/2021, of 17 March, which approves the updated list of services of the Quality Assurance Agency for the University System in Castilla y León (BOCYL of 24 March 2021).

ACSUCYL is committed to implementing its “2024 Annual Action Plan”, ensuring independence, professionalism, integrity, as well as technical and scientific competence, in compliance with the requirements set out by the Board of Directors in the Agency's “Code of Ethics” and “Quality Policy”.
ACSUCYL will act in accordance with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance of Higher Education (ESG), and will be subject to external review by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), and as a member of the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR).
The ESG provide the benchmark not only for internal and external quality assurance in higher education but also for the quality assurance of the agencies themselves, since they are the standards and guidelines used by the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR).
With this international backing, ACSUCYL'S assessment, accreditation, and certification programmes extend to higher education institutions anywhere.
In 2024, ACSUCYL will again be subject to review by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), since five years have now elapsed since the last external review was conducted. After undergoing review by ENQA’s panel of external experts, ACSUCYL will seek renewal of its membership of the European Quality Assurance Register (EQAR).
