Bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees accredit their official status and validity in the whole country through their inclusion in the University Register of Centres and Degrees (RUCT) , in three stages:
Initial accreditation, through verification of the curriculum and any subsequent changes by the University Council, and authorisation for their implementation by the autonomous community.
Follow-up of the degrees registered with the RUCT.
Renewal of accreditation of degrees by the University Council, after six years in the case of bachelor's degrees and doctoral degrees, and four years in the case of master's degrees.
The Quality Assurance Agency for the University System in Castilla y Leon (ACSUCYL) is involved in all of these procedures by issuing mandatory and binding assessment reports.
In accordance with the Agency's Quality Policy (91 kbytes) ,which ensures transparency in the outcomes of the assessment activities, all the reports on the verification, modification, follow-up and renewal of accreditation of degrees are disseminated publicly so as to inform society, public authorities as well as whichever persons and institutions have an interest in higher education, respecting in all instances the current legislation on confidentiality and data protection.
