Follow-up of official university degrees

The  Real Decreto 822/2021 (466 kbytes)   of September 28, which establishes the organization of official university teachings and the quality assurance procedure, establishes the monitoring of official degrees registered in the Registry of Universities, Centers and Degrees (RUCT), once started its implementation, in order to verify compliance with the project contained in the study plan verified by the Council of Universities.

The evaluation protocols are established jointly within the  Red Española de Agencias de Calidad Universitaria (REACU) (534 kbytes) :

ACSUCYL conducts assessment of degrees through the Degree Assessment Commission , which is responsible amongst other tasks for: 

• Planning and coordinating the assessment process.
• Designing, approving and publishing the assessment criteria and methods.
• Adopting joint final assessment decisions.

In order to perform its tasks, the committee draws on the advice of experts, set up in Comités de Evaluación (276 kbytes) , organised in five fields or areas of knowledge (Sciences, Health Sciences, Social and Legal Sciences, Humanities, Engineering and Architecture).

The work undertaken by the members of the committee and the experts in the committees is subject to the Agency's Código Ético (556 kbytes) .
